The 2009-2010 season is upon us and we are looking forward to another fun year of wonderful trips, great evening programs and the very special Soup Supper and Fish Fry. This is our 29th year of activities and they are all made possible by the generous volunteers in past years whose energy and creativity have attracted almost 500 members to the organization. SINHG has become a wonderful educational effort and a fun way to meet with new and old friends. Our support of local area environmental education also has grown recently and will continue.

Planning for this year's Fall trips and Evening Programs is complete and will be emailed to our current distribution list approximately July 6, together with the annual Membership and Volunteer form. All information and forms also will be available on our website at (www.sinhg.org). Please visit the newly designed website for lots of good information as the year progresses.

The annual Membership and Volunteer forms should be submitted by mail to our Secretary, Paula Adamson. Trip Selection Forms should be submitted to our Trip Coordinator, Janet Gorski. Janet and her Trip Planning Team have organized a terrific menu of 48 trips for the Fall season, many of which are either new or returning after several years' absence.

As always volunteer support of our activities is much needed and adds to the success of SINHG. Please choose the areas that interest you and submit your choices with the Membership form.

We are going to have another great year of educational activities, environmental support and social fun. Please get involved and join us.
