Discover the allure of the iconic Morris Island Lighthouse, nestled on a secluded barrier island off Charleston’s coast. Accessible solely by boat, you’ll depart from Bowens Island, adjacent to Folly Beach, and embark on a mesmerizing 1 hour journey through the salt marsh tidal creeks. Your knowledgeable captain will interpret the beauty of our salt marsh ecosystem as you travel through the winding creeks towards Morris Island. Hundreds of dolphins call these creeks home, alongside migratory and local birds and other wildlife. Upon arrival to Morris Island, you’ll have an hour to explore the beach, find shells and enjoy the beauty of the barrier island. When you get back on the boat, you will have about a 30 minute ride back to our launch point. The tour is 2.5 hours in total.
