The Seabrook Island Natural History Group (SINHG) has been bringing neighbors together for adventures, education and entertainment for 4 decades.

• You can become a member of our community where we learn, explore and connect with our

  neighbors for only $16 a year. The membership year runs from June 1 through May 31st of the following year and is open to Seabrook Island residents.

• Enjoy up to 6 informative evening programs a year at the Lake House featuring knowledgeable speakers that share their insights and stories of the Lowcountry. Best of all, as a member you can attend these gatherings for free!

• Over 50 trips are offered each year covering widely ranging topics - there is something for everyone!

  • Outdoor adventures including kayaking, bicycling, boating and birdwatching

  • Informative guided nature and history tours

  • Sporting events

  • Hands-on Arts and Crafts including painting and indigo dye techniques!

  • Culinary experiences, cooking classes and even local breweries.

• We also have the exclusive and well attended Member Appreciation Night where we gather for fellowship, dinner, drinks and the opportunity to get involved in SINHG offerings! We welcome your

This past year's Evening Programs included presentations by Lauren Rust for the Lowcountry Marine Mammal Network, Channel 2 Weather with Jed Christoph, Andy Johnston and the Bob White Quail, Deveaux Bank and Seabrook Island, a History of Seabrook Island and Dr. Jerry Reves shared his insights from his recently published book "South Carolina's Indomitable College of Medicine: The Bicentennial History.
